The Cape Town Central City Improvement District (CCID) has just completed the latest Online Residential Survey, with a total number of 215 respondents. While still considered a “dipstick” in terms of the actual number of residents it is believed live in the CBD, it is nevertheless an indicator of what these residents do – or don’t – like about their downtown lifestyle, as well as their hopes and dreams for its development into the future.

Says CCID Communications Manager, Carola Koblitz: “Although the survey only closed yesterday [Tuesday 12 December], we are already being contacted for the results. However, these will now take some time to analyse and draw comparisons between 2017’s results and those of previous years. We anticipate releasing the results early in 2018.

“However, what we can announce are the three participants who have been drawn as the winners of the cash prizes that were on offer.”

The winners are:

1st prize of R1 500: Matt Weisse

2nd prize of R1 000: Micha Weir

3rd prize of R500:  Stean Bester

“From everyone at the CCID, we say a huge congratulation to our three prize winners,” says Carola, “and also an enormous thank you to each and every one of the 215 respondents that completed the survey.”
