This Is Not My Forever is here to lift the veil.
Through this moving, powerful campaign, we share real stories, told by real people who know the cold, the stigma and the daily fight to survive, and who are actively writing their next chapter. Alongside them, the Cape Town Central City Improvement District’s (CCID) Social Development team walks the streets every day, connecting people with the outreach, work-readiness, and reintegration programmes that turn small first steps into lasting change.
Homelessness is a chapter. It is not an identity, and it is not a life sentence.
