The State of Cape Town Central City Report: 2016 – A year in review launches

by CCID 12 Apr 2017

The second half of April will see the launch of the latest edition of the Cape Town Central City Improvement District’s (CCID) annual and always highly anticipated investment guide.

While this year’s The State of Cape Town Central City Report will include the usual overviews of business and property activity in the CBD over the past year, the latest edition also hones in on the four precincts within the CCID footprint. It reveals not only their individual characters in terms of their business, retail, educational and government facilities mix, but breaks down the varying residential offerings (from average price achieved per unit to average days on the market in each “neighbourhood”) and resident mix (from the average age and occupation of residents in each area to insight on their shopping habits) to the opportunities that still exist for new business development in each node.

The publication will be available to members of the public online from midday on Thursday 20 April (www.capetownccid.org/about-ccid/publications/The-State-of-Cape-Town-Central-City-Report/61) and hard copies can be obtained from the CCID from Wednesday 26 April onwards (email aziza@capetownccid.org).
