As the New Year begins, the Cape Town Central City Improvement District (CCID) looks forward to another year of working together with everyone who has a role to play in the CBD to create a space that’s welcoming to all.

Says Tasso Evangelinos, CEO of the CCID: “On behalf of my team, I’d like to wish Central City stakeholders a prosperous 2019. We hope it will be a great year for everybody. For us, it’s business as usual as our teams have been working throughout the festive season. We would like to assure you that we are here for you as we continue to strive for a Central City that is safe, clean, caring, open for business and a centre for all.

“The CCID has gotten to where it is today thanks to the collective efforts, partnerships and the trust and support of everyone with whom it works. We certainly look forward to working together once again this year as we continue to efficiently render top-up services – in addition to those of our primary services providers, the City of Cape Town and SAPS – that speak to your needs as our stakeholders. And, through the regular updates that we receive from each of our departments, we look forward to keeping you informed via our many communication platforms – from our monthly e-newsletter and social media channels to our hard copy publications and public awareness campaigns.”

To get in touch with the CCID during normal office hours, call us on 021 286 0830 or email info@capetownccid.org. If you wish to report safety concerns in the CBD, or come across any other matter that you may want to let us know about urgently, contact the CCID’s 24-hour control centre number on 082 415 7127. WhatsApp messages can also be sent using the same 24-hour number.
